A group of unemployed women, heads of the family improved their poverty situations through productive work of sewing uniforms
15 women were organized as a Micro business association registered in the Chamber of Commerce and have legal status.
50 unemployed women have been trained to a productive work of sewing uniforms; receiving technical training with the support of "SENA" (National Service of Learning”)
6 women are permanent and respond to the workshop .
They have taken part in the program of family integration.

A group of girls and adolescents aged 10-18 years have benefited through the program of recreational and educational activities, by contributing their free time and channelling human - spiritual dimension.
40 children and adolescents were trained in music and arts.
On average: 15 participated in the guitar course, 4 in drums, 3 in piano, 18 in painting and drawing.
They have developed musical talents offering free time and through human - spiritual integration
They have contributed to the transformation of their family and social context.
MORE RECYCLING MORE MARKET

With the project “MORE RECYCLING MORE MARKET" the families with an organized labour have achieved a
better quality of life and balanced economic condition.
It has trained a group on the importance of recyclers
They have found balanced markets for barter transactions of recycling
It has improved the food condition of the families
Environmental awareness was raised among the users of the project
Significant decrease of beggars in the Muncipality of Algeria and increased solidarity from the part of the benefactors
who donate recyclable products to users of the project,
The project obtained great social impact, so that the Diocese of Sonsón - Rionegro has taken it as a model for the homes PAN Y VIDA of the parishes, introducing everywhere this same Project.
SANTISIMA TRINIDAD MICROENTERPRISE
Tado, Choco, “Sagrado Corazón” Province, Medellín.
With the formation of afro-descendant women group the “Santisima Trinidad” Association was started for dress making and candle making.
Women are trained in dressmaking and candle making and have begun a project associated with income generating resources.
Sewing machines, cloth for dressmaking, raw material for candle making were purchased.
It has motivated to foster values and skills for social relationships.
INTEGRAL PROMOTION OF YOUTH AND CHILDREN OF THE BOARDING
Tiebissou, “Notre Dame d’Afrique” General Delegación, Ivory Coast
Young people have greatly benefitted the accommodation, food and literacy program in Notre Dame du Carmel boarding in Tiebissou.
Sixty young boarders have received sufficient and balanced diet that favoured their study level.
The tuitions after classes helped in promoting education of the young people, raised the average study level and majority could be promoted for the next year.
Better literacy levels have been obtained among the non-literate population.
CONTINUITY TO THE HELP OFFERED TO HIV-AIDS PATIENTS

The Project has given continuity to the integral care to the HIV-AIDS patients and the affected families.
47 families were assisted monthly with a food kit.
55 Patients received antiretroviral treatment
One person has gained autonomy and subsistence, thanks to the project.
EXTENDING HOSPITALITY IN THE BAOBAB PROJECT

The program was aimed at offering a place to Sub-Saharan immigrants, at risk of social exclusion, in order to live worthily with a warm and familiar ambience, with support and accompaniment in the regularization of their legal status.
508 young Sub-Saharans have managed to integrate themselves into the Baobab program
40 Sub-Saharans originally from: Mali,Senegal,Cameroon,Ivory Coast, Republic of Central Africa,GhanaandGambiahave received attention and follow-up.
5 beneficiaries have obtained job and other 17 are preparing themselves to enter into the labour world.
Majority of them have succeeded to get the legal status.
CHILD CARE CENTRE, “LAS HUELGAS

Children from 0 to 3 years in risk of exclusion and abandonment were attended to in the Centre and their families received help for labour insertion.
Integral development and social insertion of the benefitted children
Growth in personal identity and autonomy according to the possibilities and age of children.
Improvement in the family and intercultural living
80% of the mothers have integrated themselves to a formal education, labour field and have attained their legal status.
Networking with: Caritas, Red Cross and Municipal CEAS and collaboration with 19 voluntary groups.
JOB TRAINING: COURSE OF WAITER/ESS
El Prat de Llobregat- Barcelona, “Mater Carmeli” Province, Europe
With the help of the professionals of the area a specialized course on waiter/ess was conducted for 30 students to facilitate their process of labour insertion.
30 students are trained to render a professional and quality service.
90% of the students have attended punctually and obtained good results.
30 students have already begun to work and improved their standard of living.
NURSING ASSISTANT IN GERIATRICS

Vocational training was given to a group of people in Geriatrics nursing who did not have regular legal status in Spain in order to obtain a degree and provide an opportunity for the future.
15 candidates originally from: Colombia, Ecuador, Equatorial Guinea, Honduras, India, Morocco, Nigeria and Dominican Republic were trained as Nursing Assistants - Geriatrics,.
It counted upon regular attendance and assimilation of contents.
They acquired knowledge and skills for professional performance and improved the quality of family life.
RECREATIONAL WORKSHOP FOR THE YOUTH

In the Santa CruzCaburanSchoola recreational workshop was created for 70 young people of the institution and 30 youth of the parish, to prevent delinquency, violence and the use of drugs.
The young people have developed skills, artistic and musical talents.
It has improved the self-esteem and identity of the young people and they have learned to use creatively their free time.
There is a greater motivation to share and commit oneself to the Community.
CONSTRUCTION OF A WELL

A drinking water well was constructed in the Raruowa village, to supply water to the School and the neighbouring families.
There is growth in the quality of life among the people of Raruowa.
There is greater organization and participation of the people and more favourable conditions for women in the household.
FEEDING PROGRAM FOR ST. LUCY’S SECONDARY SCHOOL

The young boarding girls of Raruowa have received a nutritive supplement that has favoured their learning process and integral development.
With a balanced diet the nutrition and academic performance of the young girls have improved.
They have grown in self-esteem and healthy relations; motivation and interest to realize university studies.
There is deeper Integration in their families and in the society.
PSCHOPEDAGOGICAL RECOVERY OF CHILDREN AND ADOSLESCENTS

In the CASSA foundation a program was developed for children and adolescents at risk situations, to help their integral growth, skills and abilities and social integration.
The children and adolescents were given a personal attention by helping and encouraging them with a guidance to improve the techniques and study habits.
Recreational workshops were conducted to diminish their aggressiveness and promote social behaviour.
The quality of food and nutrition rates have been improved.
ZERO RISK FOR ADOLESCENTS IN THE “FE Y ALEGRÍA” SCHOOL

The Fe y Alegria School proposed to reduce the risk situations of adolescents belonging to low income resources, with an alternative program to develop creativity, resilience and values.
Active participation of selected students.
Parental involvement in the capacity development of social skills and spiritual growth workshops
Students handle better their personal life, by facing diverse situations with positive and resilient attitude.
Increased level of integral formation of the students in handling their emotions and decision making during personal and group conflict.
The development of the project has been effective. The students have acquired musical repertoire and techniques in martial arts, drawing, painting and dance.
SUPPORT AND FOLLOW-UP TO THE CHILDREN OF KINDERGARTEN “VIRGEN DEL CARMEN"

This project contributed to the maintenance of the children of kindergarten and the training of its teachers.
The children have reached to a level of development appropriate to their age and there is higher level of nutrition.
There are no cases of undernourished children.
Cognitive, emotional and social growth has taken place in the children and the teachers of the Center have been trained pedagogically.
Parents are more committed and responsible for their children’s development.
